I Dare To Be Fit ‘n Right!

Growing up fat wasn’t easy for me. I had to encounter people who criticized the way I look during the days when I was very fat. There were even times my father had to control and argue with me even while I was in front of the table and eating my favorite meals. There were times my mom or grandmother would rescue me from his sermon but those just ended up with another argument.

Belonging to hypertension and diabetes-prone family, losing weight and staying fit is my best choice to live healthier and longer. But, losing much weight wasn’t that easy. When I was in secondary school, that was the time I realized that I had to stop my old habits and start losing weight  to look and feel good, and  to stop hearing words like “baboy”, “batchoy”, “taba”, among others. I decided to be more active and cut down some food on my diet. Also, I had to watch my calorie intake and stop drinking my favorite cola or juice drinks.

That great move was a success. From 3rd year high school up to college, my weight went down from 110 kilos to  70 kilos–a loss of almost 90lbs in few years. Then I decided to enroll in a fitness center for a year where I managed to maintain my weight and tone my body.

When I thought everything was okay, I became  relaxed. I stopped going to the gym and started to cheat on my diet– started pigging out since I felt I was deprived from the food I want during the days I’m controlling my food intake. What’s worse, I had lesser time to do my routines the moment I started to have my first job. Now, I wake up early and go home too tired and late. And when I am at work, I had no choice but to sit in front of the computer all-day.

So, I ended up gaining more pounds. Now, I’m close to 200 lbs. Good thing, there is Fit ‘n Right the time I was thinking of trimming down. I did not have any hesitations at all signing up for Fit ‘n Right event for bloggers. I don’t even have any regrets for attending since I really learned a lot, especially from Coach Jim Saret’s lecture, advice, and his four-minute workout.

Yes, forget going to the gym and forget the excuses you have just to work out because you can be fit by just doing the Fast Intense Training (FIT) workout a.k.a. four-minute workout. It can actually make you lose more or less 400 calories by doing that particular workout, which makes you burn calories more than what you can burn when you jog for an hour or two. Imagine, if you can burn 200 calories for a 30 minutes to an hour  run on the treadmill, you can burn double than that in four minutes and even after working out! What more if you add Fit ‘N Right on your diet?

THE F.I.T. Workout

For your guide, here’s an illustration of the four-minute workout:

1. Body weight lifting. Lift your body and make a balance through the help of your elbows and toes as shown below.  You can do this in 10-16 seconds or depending how long you can do the workout.

1

2. Squats. Doing this exercise trains your thigh muscles, hips and even your buttocks.  You can have one set of 8-16 reps, or depending on how long or how many you can do.

3. Lunges. This exercise helps you train your muscles on your legs and butt as well. You can do 8-16 reps per set, or do more depending on your long and how much you can do.

FIT1

4. Push-ups. You can do 16 reps per set, or more than that if you can. Women can do the alternative push-up.

5. Crunches. Probably you can start with 10-16 crunches per set or do more if you can. You also need to do the side crunches.

Fit ‘n Right contains L-Carnitine
that makes you burn fat 16.7% faster than the usual. It naturally occurs in the body so you don’t have to worry about taking this in. It has essential vitamins such as Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 that help boost metabolism, energy and endurance. It also contains vitamin C for better immunity and body defense.

With regular exercise and proper diet paired with Fit ‘n Right intake, staying fit and healthy will be easier. It also now comes in 1 liter bottles so staying fit and right is now much easier and affordable. And, if you feel like you’re craving for sweets, then Fit n’ Right fruit snacks will be your best resort.

Though I promise myself  before that I will lose weight without taking anything at all, after hearing coach Jim’s lecture and knowing more about how Fit ‘n Right can help me out, I am giving it a shot. From now on, I am gonna drink Fit ‘N Right and incorporate it in my lifestyle, and as well do the four-minute work out. It will also be a great preparation for the upcoming fun run sponsored by Fit ‘n Right.

The event dubbed as Dare to Be Fit ‘n Right Fun Run 2009 will be  on November 22 at the SM Mall of Asia. And so, I will join the fun run too. It will be the first one I’m joining in so I am really excited. Now that I think I found the best partner to be healthy, I dare to take the challenge. I dare to be healthy. I dare to be Fit ‘n Right!

That’s right! Healthier living means you need to eat right and workout at least 3 or 4 times a week. Regular exercising also improves your self-confidence. When you feel confident, no one can belittle you.
