Moving Out, Investing In
For the past months, I’ve tried out being by my own, being independent. Though I expected to move back to my folks’ house next year, I have decided to go back earlier than to what I have planned to start working on a big thing I have been planning and dreaming of ever since.
I decided to give up living in a condo at this time to step up and make this big move. And, at this time, I have these options:
a) purchase a lot somewhere, maybe a farm land or just a land wide enough to be developed and cultivated, and make money from it
b) purchase a condo unit and make money from it
c) invest in few doors apartment and make money from it
d) or maybe purchase a house (and not make money from it)
e) buy a new car
f) start my dream business
For someone turning 23, this is a really big move but hopefully I can make the right decision and will not have any regrets.
But, expect that I’ll be more kuripot in the coming days or months. Tipid Mode! LOL

wow…ako 30 na and the only thing i’ve really invested in is my car…and my gadgets. while they are good investments for the present, i haven’t thought as far ahead as you. good luck!!!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Pano na ang swimming pool namin ni Cher!
Kelan last day mo jan sa condo? kelangan makapagswimming ulit for the last time!
@Ria, thanks. Though I have the urge to spend on gadgets, it makes me think twice and also think on my needs and my wants. Or maybe this is just a typical Ilocano in me. LOL
Good luck talaga sa akin. I have few months to prepare for this
I’d go for options C and F (kung ano man and dream business mo).
Last point.. what makes you happier and richer.. dun tayo! hahahaha
F! Sure na! What’s your dream business anyway?
@Grace, yun nga eh. I think i’ll start with F and then save for more capital to start a business..
@Boy kuripot, actually madami. I used to dream of being a business tycoon. LOL. Food business or events management..
good luck, ed. suportahan taka.
pero tama si sago. despedida muna sa pool. hehehe.
@Jonel, sure.. i’m leaving on the 20th so pwede tayo mag-set ng swimming
Mas masarap at masaya ba sayo ang nakahiwalay sa bahay niyo? Mas productive ka ba?
If yes, then maybe you just need to find a cheaper place to stay in.
In any case, kung wala namang kaso sayo ang bumalik sa bahay niyo, then I guess okay lang – yan ang “cheapest” decision.
As for your options, I’d suggest you get a commercial space or a residential unit – and have it rented. Mukha namang may pera ka nang pambili.
Hmmm… kung may pambili ka ng real estate, eh di mukhang can afford ka nang hindi mag-full time sa work.
Hanap ka ng freelance job tapos gawin mo na ang dream business mo. Woot!
Dami mong options… hirap mamili noh? Hehe.
O sha, “All the best!” na lang sa iyo. Kung ano man ang desisyon mo, suportahan taka. Lolz.
@Fritz, Master, Idol, thanks for the tips. Lalo akong napaisip at lalo akong nalito at naliwanagan at the same time. Hahaha
Anyway, i’m giving enough time for me to decide and hopefully by next year, ma-implement ko na yung mga dapat kong gawin.
But, I’ll stay being a corporate slave to know more about the reality in the corporate world but hopefully I can be a freelancer in the long run.
mas masaya maging independent!
Go on
and be independent
yay!
@Jehz, oo nga eh.. Gusto ko full independence na! Konti na lang.. yahoo!
grabe you are young!
